Matrix performed at Crewe’s annual Carnival event.
The squad demonstrated everything they worked towards during summer school and performed in the main arena.
There was no parade this year so the team just gathered on the King George Playing Field and despite the weather they performed well. Coach SJ said: “The squad did really well considering that they only had 4 weeks to practise and we had a lot of new members. During the 4 weeks of summer school everyone went back to basics and concentrated on improving skills rather than creating routines.”
The squad now have a break before the timetable kicks off on September 6th with Junior and Senior tryouts this Thursday from 5-7pm. Check out the new timetable on the website for changes to practise days.
