Matrix took home another batch of trophies after an amazing competition in Blackpool.
The Junior and Senior teams headed to the Winter Gardens at the end of November fer the annual IDTA Northern Classic competition. Both squads performed new routines with fantastic results.
The Junior Level 2 routine started flawlessly but unfortunatley due to an injury within the squad they were unable to complete their stunts. Coach SJ said: “Amy was fantastic and carried on the routine even though she was injured. The squad pulled together and showing great teamwork, walked away with 6th place.”
The Senior Coed Level 3 team shimmied their way to first place with a fabulous performance which amde both Coach Lea and Coach SJ immensly proud and are now preparing to rock the floor at the FC Nationals in Brighton . Show me your shimmy!
The Convict routine totally “stole” (haha get it?) the show. They performed well walking away with 4th place for Junior Dance.
Senior Dance performed brilliantly, but were up against hard competition. SJ said: “The poms were hard to dance with as the girls hadnt practised with them alot, so next time they will be perfect ! Great stuff ” They came away with 6th place.
Mum’s Squad were the heroes of the weekend, walking away with 2nd place yet again for their Dead Ringer For Love routine.
The squad did themselves proud, coming away with a respectable 4 1st place trophies and lots more for the cabinet. All the cheerleaders behaved exceptionally and SJ and Leanne are very proud of them all.
